Karen Schuler is a nationally recognized forensic and electronic discovery expert, author and editor with more than 15 years’ consulting to legal and corporate entities. She is a former U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission Forensic Examiner, where she focused on investigating insider trading and embezzlement, as well as securities and accounting fraud. As one of the most industry-experienced consultants in the electronic discovery field, she provides legal team guidance in the areas of prevention, investigations and analysis. Ms. Schuler has both national and international experience mitigating discovery risks, creating defensible preservation and collection plans, analyzing evidence in multi-party and complex matters, and preparing fraud detection and prevention plans.
Prior to joining Intelligent Discovery Solutions, Inc., Ms. Schuler was the national director of the discovery consulting practice for a global discovery company, as well as a director of an international strategic consulting firm where she realigned the forensic and evidence management practices for the firm. Ms. Schuler transformed from the information technology profession during her tenure as the Principal of TekTron Solutions, where she founded one of the first forensic analysis companies in the U.S.
